Many Things can contribute to injury:

Sitting or Standing for long periods of time in uncomfortable or unatural positions
Repetitive or overuse of muscles and tendons
Poor posture
Improper technique
Body tension

BUT!!! There is hope and there are things you can do to avoid injury or minimize discomfort from pain you may already be experiencing.
As  a 20 yr. Classical guitarist & teacher,  I know of what I speak!!
Did you know that   Musicians suffer just as many injuries as athletes?
Whether you are a professional musican , a beginner or  a weekend "gig" warrior , If you spend a good amount of  time playing an instrument, there is a fair  chance that you have already ,or will in the future experience some kind of pain or discomfort related to your musical activities..
