PERNAMBUCO - Gerald Knöll Artist Gerald Knoll is regarded as one of the finest young bowmakers in Germany today. Having grown up in the “business” (son of Hartmut Knöll, grandson of Alfred Knölll) he studied both violin making & bowmaking, taking diplomas in both areas. His primary love is bowmaking, so he also did an apprenticeship with Hans Karl Schmidt in Dresden, regarded by many as the finest bowmaker in Germany. |
