Here We Have a rare find. A John Juzek Guarneri del Geso model violin. It is signed and dated May 10th, 1925. The quality of workmanship is extraordinary. The selection of wood and varnish are impeccable giving the instrument that old world patina, and of course it has the warm rich tone that you would expect from a Guarneri viloin. More pictures..

Suzuki SDG-40  Acoustic Guitar

Suzuki  has made guitars for approximately 35 years.They produced an excellent line of student instruments. A few years ago for reasons unknown they stopped makig guitars, but before halting production they had apparently ventured into the higher end acoustic market. Recently a dozen or so new old stock instruments were  found in storage This guitar  is one of these. The SDG-40 is all solid woods. Spruce top and mahogany back and sides.
